The most striking feature is the Double Mounting System (DCM). Our 2-point mounting system means you can attach your Chaya plate to your Chaya boots without any electric tools! You can mount your plates yourself by following a very simple process that anyone can do. Attach your plates to your Chaya boots in just a few minutes by simply securing two screws with the included hand tool. The DCM allows you to move your plate forward and backward as well as side to side to complete your preferred skating style. However, the Shari plates are also compatible with all other derby boots. The Cherry Bomb stopper from Chaya is positioned off-center. This anatomically oriented position allows you to stop faster, accelerate more powerfully, and makes using the toe stops very comfortable! This, combined with our Power Toe System (PTS), which follows the natural shape of the boot, provides superior power transfer as the boot and plate are more closely connected. The cast aluminum trucks are held by very robust Delrin cushions. This lightweight 20° plate made of fiberglass-reinforced nylon (GFK) is equipped with high-quality PU-Jelly Interlock cushions that offer excellent control and great maneuverability.
