Product details
The CeramicSpeed BB86 bottom bracket impresses with its design and is compatible with cranks that have a 28.99 mm axle, such as those following the SRAM DUB standard. The bearings are mounted into the bearing cups, which are then screwed into the bottom bracket shell. These bearings are available in either standard or coated versions. Both feature super round, super smooth CeramicSpeed balls made from hardened steel. The coated version has a metallic coating on the raceways, making them even harder and smoother, resulting in a longer lifespan and reduced resistance. CeramicSpeed standard bearings typically have a friction resistance of 0.3-0.4 watts per set. This represents a 75% reduction in resistance compared to standard bottom brackets. This is due to bearings that are 100% smoother and 15% harder than ceramic competitors. The bearings last at least three times longer than other bearings.
