Product details
Thermal switch for heating controllers. Stop guessing when using third-party heating bands and enhance your energy efficiency with the Celestron thermistor for smart DewHeater controls. This accessory allows the Smart DewHeater Controller (sold separately) to deliver just the right amount of heat to your telescope's corrector without wasting battery power. Here's how it works: Connect the heating band to your telescope and place the sealed probe tip of the thermistor under the heating band. Connect each wire to its corresponding terminal on the Smart DewHeater controller. Note: This switch is not required for the Celestron Dew Heating Ring, as it already has a built-in thermistor.
