Celestron Pole height cradle for NexStar Evolution 6/8/9 and NexStar SE6/8

A polar height wedge is required for the equatorial operation of a telescope that is mounted in a fork or single-arm mount.

The wedge is placed between the tripod and the mount. By adjusting the polar height wedge to the latitude of the observation site, the azimuthal axis is tilted to be parallel to the Earth's axis. This transforms the azimuthal mount into an equatorial one. In this way, long-exposure images become possible, as equatorial mounts do not experience field rotation.

This polar height wedge is compatible with Celestron telescopes NexStar SE 6/8 and NexStar Evolution 6/8/925.
