The small (1.67 micron) and densely packed pixels are perfect for shorter to medium focal lengths (300 - 1000 mm) and provide good image scaling in smaller telescopes. Through a USB 3.0 connection, the NexImage 10 can capture up to 200 frames per second (fps) at lower resolutions. This camera is the choice for the best budget-friendly options. It is a user-friendly color camera that delivers live images for easy focusing. The resolution is 3856 x 2764 pixels with small pixels, allowing for high resolution even without an additional Barlow lens.

Included in the package are the Celestron iCap software for capturing and exporting images, as well as the RegiStax software for automatically filtering the best images and subsequently aligning and stacking them. For use with Mac OS X, the software from oaCapture and Lynkeos can be downloaded for free.
