Product details

11" heating ring for dew protection. The dew heating ring replaces the plastic retaining ring of your Schmidt optics and ensures efficient heating of the entire optics. The ring is made from lightweight, durable aluminum. Unlike other heating bands or strips that inefficiently warm the lens, the Celestron dew heating ring directly warms the corrector plate, providing the most efficient heat transfer to prevent dew formation. Connect the ring to an external 12V DC power source. The dew heating ring features two clips to securely hold the power and thermistor jacks when not in use, while also accommodating the dust cover of the telescope. The dew heater ring also comes with a cable clip that attaches to the front ring of the telescope. The dew heating ring is fully supplied with: - Dew heating ring - Cable clip - Extension cable for power connection.
