Simply turn the dial back, swap out the steel, return the blade to its original state, and you’ll be back on the ice in no time.

Changing the steel is extremely quick and requires no additional tools. In the event that the Speed Blade Xchange System is damaged, CCM has provided hardware that can be purchased separately, so there’s no need to replace the entire holder. The XS holder has the same rivet pattern as the 4.0 holder. Players with CCM skates from 2013 to 2019 can switch to the XS holder but will need to purchase new XS runners for proper compatibility.
