Castelli Ultra Rain Cape

Absolutely waterproof, extremely packable rain cape. This waterproof, packable jacket is made from a two-layer Polartec® Weather Protection stretch fabric. It is designed to be worn in combination with our jackets featuring Ristretto technology but can also be worn directly over a jersey without flapping in the wind, and it can be stowed in a pocket.

Depending on the season and location, being well-prepared for a change in weather is a good thing. The Ultra Rain Cape, designed as part of our Ristretto technology, gives you that assurance. Unlike most other rain jackets, the close-fitting, two-layer Weather Protection Polartec® stretch fabric keeps the rain out while taking up less space than a pocket when stowed. The snug material is also stretchy enough to be worn directly over a jersey without flapping in the wind, or, when temperatures drop, over your Espresso Air Jacket or Perfetto Air Jacket, allowing you to feel good on rides all year round. We have added reflectors on the sleeves and waist for increased visibility in poor weather. To ensure you always have it with you, the jacket can be easily packed into its own pocket.
