The birth of the new Nano Flex Xtra Dry material. Eight years have passed since Castelli surprised the cycling apparel industry with a pioneering achievement in the form of a nanotechnology coating for cycling clothing. Since then, this has ensured a higher level of moisture protection without sacrificing breathability and stretch. We have continuously developed our technology and incorporated improvements into our collection. This season, we are able to present a significant first update. The foundation is a denser, 2-layer base material that is treated with an improved water-repellent finish for even better moisture protection. Our ultimate goal remains to achieve absolute waterproofness with a membrane-free material. The current state certainly represents a significant increase in comfort for bad weather. Nevertheless, we continue to advance our development. This new pair of tights is also excellent for dry conditions, making it extremely versatile for winter use.

In addition to the material, other features are crucial for a top-quality training tight. Our Progetto X2 Air seat pad is used. For optimal splash protection and visibility, we incorporate a waterproof and reflective material in the inner lower leg area. To ensure optimal comfort and moisture protection, seams have been minimized. We are convinced that we are offering the best possible universal tights that current technologies allow. Still, we are not tired of continuing to work on the ultimate solution.
