The inspiration for the Maglia Rosa 2021 came from the moment when the 2020 winner, Tao Geoghegan Hart, was finally seen in pink on the final podium in Milan. The wearer of this iconic jersey truly enters cycling history and will carry the names of past winners, wrapped around the stripes of the jersey like in the Trofeo Senza Fine. It is a true homage to 90 years of Maglia Rosa, marked with a golden logo on the upper back, complemented by the golden zipper pull and the Trofeo symbols on the sleeves.

It’s not just the legacy that we celebrate with this jersey. It has been developed in a wind tunnel for aerodynamics while being lightweight and highly breathable. Together with the fabric manufacturer Sitip, we use 100% recycled yarns to reduce the environmental impact of a jersey that looks both to the past and the future. Now, a victory at the Giro d'Italia is also a victory for the planet.
