The next generation of race clothing for bad weather has arrived. The Gabba R long-sleeve jacket is the most protective and aerodynamic ever made. Designed to meet the demands of professional cyclists, where every watt counts, it has proven to be our fastest jacket in wind tunnel tests, ensuring you don't have to sacrifice speed to stay dry. The waterproof fabric hugs the body closely without restricting freedom of movement, and the sleeves are designed to accommodate gloves without putting strain on the wrist.

We have added three rear mesh pockets to store essentials, with the mesh ensuring that the pockets do not fill with water and weigh you down. The extended fabric at the back of the jacket provides extra protection against road spray, and a reflective strip has been added to enhance visibility. Once again, we have raised the bar for what race clothing should be in bad weather.

Technical specifications:

• Castelli's exclusive fabric with a microporous, electrospun, hydrophilic polyurethane membrane
• The outer membrane keeps the jacket lightweight and breathable by avoiding additional layers that would trap moisture
• The fabric weighs only 125 g/m² and stretches in every direction to at least double its original size
• The inner fabric back is made of 78% polyester and 22% elastane to ensure extreme stretch and improve breathability
• The polyurethane membrane has been formulated to be more hydrophobic than conventional polyurethane
• Elastic wrist closure to keep water out
