As the name suggests, we wanted to create the ideal, simple emergency rain jacket. We made it completely waterproof and compact, and as you would expect from Castelli, it also has an amazing fit on the bike, yet is still roomy enough to fit over a Gabba.

It has all the features of a high-performance rain jacket, with a waterproof zipper, extended back, long sleeves, and cuffs that can be pulled over gloves. But we understood that you wouldn’t want to break the bank for this, so the only real compromise compared to our top models is breathability.

We kept the styling understated and added a bright color variant in Brilliant Pink, so you can easily use this jacket as a commuter jacket and still look great when you arrive at the office. If you plan to wear it over office attire, you should choose one size larger.
