In developing this jacket, we drew inspiration from ski touring. Weight plays a crucial role here, and insulation is a necessity. The intensity of the sport places high demands on the breathability of the clothing.

The construction of this jacket resembles that of a warming ski jacket, with an insulation layer between the inner and outer fabrics. Unlike most mountain sports jackets, we consciously opted against complete windproofing to maintain a certain level of air permeability. This promotes moisture management and works better than conventional membrane fabrics. The medium insulation layer made of polypropylene impresses with its minimal weight (specific density 0.6 g) and does not absorb moisture from rain or sweat. The materials used, with limited elasticity, require a slightly different cut. This jacket has a somewhat more relaxed fit. Those chasing personal bests will be better served with an Alpha Light Jacket or a Perfetto. However, many others can enjoy a completely new feeling with this jacket.

The three-layer, breathable thermal material offers an optimal combination of warmth, breathability, and weight. Japanese breathable, water-repellent nylon fabric on the outside. The polypropylene insulation layer made of synthetic down ensures warmth and full breathability without absorbing water. Pleated stretch panels on the sides, elbows, and forearms allow for a body-hugging fit and good freedom of movement. Three back pockets with reflective elements. An internal additional closure at the waist provides extra protection or better breathability.
