Not your old-style wind jacket. If you think like we do, there’s a reason you no longer use your old-fashioned wind jacket. With waterproof jackets like the Idro being lighter and more compact than ever, it was time for us to redefine a classic. In reality, the Aria Shell jacket is very different from your flappy old jacket that either didn’t protect you or wasn’t breathable. This jacket is an incredibly lightweight layer that keeps the wind off the front of your body while allowing sufficient breathability through the mesh side panels. But what you will truly appreciate is how we use the stretch panels on the sides and the back of the sleeves to make this jacket fit like a second skin: no flappy material, no cold air circulating inside the jacket, no looking back to the Armstrong era. This jacket is light and warm enough to wear for the entire ride in mild conditions, but when you want to take it off, it fits into the integrated side pocket and can be stuffed into your jersey or saddle bag with minimal space required.
