A headset designed to bridge the gap between the 40 and 110 series headsets. The Hellbender 70 features all the construction characteristics, sealing elements, and Hellbender bearings found in a high-quality headset from the 110 series, at a price similar to that of a 40 series. Deep in the streams and rivers of the Appalachians, the mud devil salamander is a rare creature that thrives in mud and water. Like its namesake, these bearings are designed to perform under the most extreme conditions, allowing you to ride smoothly through rain, mud, gravel, or whatever the road and trail throw at you. All headsets in the Cane Creek product range are carefully designed and equipped with interchangeable parts, making these bearings compatible with all assemblies.
