Cane Creek DB Air Inline Trunnion

The legendary Double Barrel Air shock with Climb Switch from Cane Creek is now available with a Trunnion Mount. CS (Climb Switch) is a unique climbing mode developed by Cane Creek that keeps the shock's suspension fully active in low-speed mode during uphill climbs. The result is significantly improved bike control and maximum traction, combined with reduced strain on the rider and enhanced power transfer. Unlike traditional shocks, the Double Barrel CS features climbing-specific damping for both compression and rebound.

How does Climb Switch work? When CS (Climb Switch) is activated, the low-speed range of the Double Barrel Air shock is switched to climbing mode via an internal adjustment. This effectively suppresses unwanted pump movements of the shock while keeping the suspension fully active to provide the rider with reserves if the riding situation demands it. Before descending, simply flip the lever to enjoy all the benefits of the Double Barrel shock.
