Cane Creek 40

The 40 Series from Cane Creek sets the standard for performance, durability, and value. Based on the premium design of the 110 series, the 40 series includes all the features needed for a robust, lightweight, and durable headset. They make it easier by developing consistent graphics, interchangeable parts, and over 40 configurations to meet almost any size requirement. Sold in straight and tapered assemblies or tops and bottoms, the tops are available with either short (9mm) or tall (15mm) stack height bearing covers. Precision manufactured by Cane Creek, the Forty Series headset sets the standard by which all other headsets must measure up.

ZN40 bearings are corrosion-resistant, zinc-plated, machined steel cartridge bearings with hardened steel balls, which greatly increases the longevity of the 40 series headset. The patented Interlok spacer design provides a solid interface between the top cover and the spacer stack, meaning they "nest" into each other and into the top of the bearing cover, helping to minimize slippage under load while riding and saving 25% weight over a standard alloy spacer stack.
