Water-repellent treatment: A chemical composition without fluorine that is applied to the surface and causes water to slide off. This treatment can be renewed through heat exposure (tumble dryer - gentle program for 10 minutes).

Waterproof stitching: Waterproof tapes are placed under the seams to prevent water from penetrating through the stitch holes.

Waterproof material: Prevents water from penetrating the fabric. The areas that wear out the fastest are reinforced with particularly abrasion-resistant material. The waterproofness of a material is measured in Schmerber or mmH2O (i.e., the pressure exerted by a column of water). For example, a material with a value of 10,000 mm has a resistance of 10 m of water column. The higher the value, the denser the fabric. Keep your feet dry in no time!
