Product details
The B15 Swallow is an exact reproduction of a saddle developed with cyclists. The result is a timeless design that is widely regarded as the precursor to modern racing saddles. This saddle was originally patented in 1937. At that time, many Brooks saddles were already being exported to the mainland, where they were very popular among professional cyclists for use in competitions and various tours and stage races. Today's Swallow still proudly carries the original patent declaration on the tensioning plate beneath the top leather. This text includes the word "Deposé," which refers to the patent for the Swallow, initially registered with the patent office in Paris.
The timeless design of the Swallow has remained practically unchanged to this day, with the only concession to modernity being the recent introduction of a lighter model. The Swallow Titanium features a titanium frame, resulting in a significant weight reduction compared to the traditionally used steel.
