Product details
Start your journey into digital astrophotography now and capture the sky with the brand new Bresser Full HD Deep-Sky Camera with Autoguider. This is completely new: a fantastic camera for various types of astrophotography and guiding. It is suitable not only for planets but also for deep-sky objects such as galaxies, nebulae, and star clusters. The specialized astrophotography software ToupSky supports video preview, video recording, video editing, image capture and processing, dark field correction, and raw data output. It is easy to use but also offers tools for professionals.
One of the main features of the new backlit Sony IMX290 CMOS sensor is its high light sensitivity, allowing for the capture of deep-sky objects without active cooling. Sony has increased the quantum efficiency to up to 77% at a wavelength of 533 nm, which is significantly better than what other CMOS sensors have achieved in the past.
Connect this camera directly to your telescope mount via the built-in ST-4 port and take images with long exposure times of several minutes. You will always have a suitable guide star available, thanks to the additional light-sensitive camera, even with short exposure times. The ST-4 connection cable is also included to ensure easy automatic guiding in the best quality.
You can use this camera with all guiding telescopes or off-axis guiders that accept a 1.25” tube, a 1.25” filter thread, or a C-mount adapter thread.
