It is ultra-lightweight thanks to its integrated components and EPS design, and features MIPS® AIR, the lightest version of the brain protection system for falls. Hyper-ventilated, the AVIO is designed to create a low-pressure zone at the back of the helmet to enhance ventilation, which is already facilitated by the large ventilation openings at the front and the recessed internal channels for better airflow. The AVIO is engineered to optimize your quest for speed through advanced aerodynamics. It has a compact shape symbolized by the Kamm Tail, a steep finish at the back of the head that reduces air resistance. Equipped with AVID Aero Progressive EPS, which redirects airflow and manages impact energy, this helmet is designed for performance down to the smallest detail: an Opti-Dock to hold all sizes of sunglasses and an adjustment system that is also compatible with ponytails.
