Due to the many new technologies used in the SAGMA, it could be considered perhaps the most advanced saddle that a mountain biker can attach to their bike. Not only the new high-tech foam, the PU-skin covering, or the rail-suspension design, but also the ultra-short construction are ahead of their time and the competition.

Nevertheless, saddles remain a sensitive topic, as even the most expensive and/or supposedly best saddle is of no use if it doesn't fit your behind. Period. Due to its shape and the padding and foam materials used, the SAGMA can adapt to a wide variety of body shapes, thus covering a broad spectrum of needs and preferences. However, we offer it in two widths: 130 mm and 142 mm.

Recommending an absolutely correct size/width is very difficult, as too many factors need to be considered. The often-cited sit bone distance is just one of them; the sitting angle, body position, handlebar position, and other factors also play an important role, and a template alone cannot adequately represent this.

One recommendation we would like to make is the 130 mm width for downhill-oriented riders who spend a lot of time descending while standing. The 130 mm width simply provides a bit more legroom on hard and fast descents.
