Benel Lens protection lens for Vortex Red Dot Crossfire 2

This protective lens is specifically designed for the Vortex Crossfire 2 Red Dot (CF-RD2) and safeguards the lens of your Red Dot from scratches and impacts. The protective lens is made of acrylic and does not affect the light performance or accuracy of your Red Dot scope.

The housing is made from 3D-printed TPU - thermoplastic polyurethane - with a hardness of 98a and an operational temperature of up to 138 °C. This material is a combination of hard plastic and silicone, making it quite elastic, similar to rubber. On the inside, the accessory features a thickening that fits snugly into the recess of the Crossfire 2. This allows for seamless attachment, ensuring you won’t lose the protective lens during use. It weighs only 4 grams in total.

The acrylic lens is strong enough to withstand multiple impacts from airsoft pellets traveling at approximately 90 meters per second (about 1 Joule). In this test, BB-type airsoft pellets weighing 0.20 grams were used. In practice, this means that the lens protects against most impacts during airsoft/paintball activities.

This accessory is essential in any situation where the lens of your Vortex Crossfire 2 Red Dot could be damaged. For example, consider airsoft pellets that could hit the lens. However, it is also a valuable addition in any other situation where you want to provide extra protection for your lens.
