In the past two years, we noticed a shift from helmet designs focused on ventilation to those primarily emphasizing strong aerodynamics. While we understood the desire for better aerodynamics, we believed that this compromised the rider's comfort due to poorer ventilation. With the support of the Advanced Embodiment Design Team at TU Delft, we studied the thermodynamic and aerodynamic results of other racing helmets. From the beginning, our goal was to find the optimal balance between low air resistance and excellent ventilation. We then took these results to our design department and back to the 3D modeling team, ultimately bringing several prototypes into the wind tunnel. In the end, we completed what is perhaps the most concentrated development process ever, resulting in the proud presentation of the new Tithon - the optimal blend of speed and comfort. Or as our professional riders put it: "Unbridled speed.".
