The Hyperion 21mm is a versatile eyepiece designed for long focal length systems such as Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes or Maksutovs. It serves as an entry-level eyepiece for observing the Moon and planets, as well as a deep-sky eyepiece for compact star clusters, nebulae, or galaxies. In addition to its excellent imaging performance in the visual range, the Hyperion eyepieces also offer numerous photographic possibilities. You can directly adapt your camera via the auxiliary threads on the eyepiece side – perfectly centered – for optimal image quality. With the optional Hyperion extension rings, you can change the focal length of the eyepiece without adding an additional lens element, thus avoiding any loss of quality. This way, you can achieve three magnification levels from a single eyepiece. It features both 1.25" and 2" barrel diameters, allowing you to use the eyepiece with any device, even in tight focus situations.
