The Hyperion 13mm is a versatile universal eyepiece for long focal length systems (f/10 or slower), such as Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes or Maksutovs. It serves as an entry-level eyepiece for observing the Moon and planets, as well as a deep-sky eyepiece for compact star clusters, nebulae, or galaxies. Beyond its excellent imaging performance in the visual range, the Hyperion eyepieces also offer many photographic opportunities. You can directly adapt your camera via the auxiliary threads on the eyepiece side - perfectly centered - for optimal image quality. With the optional Hyperion extension rings, you can change the focal length of the eyepiece without adding an extra lens element and thus without loss of quality. This way, you can achieve three magnification levels from a single eyepiece. It features both 1.25" and 2" insert diameters, allowing you to use the eyepiece with any device, even in tight focus situations.
