Product details

With the lock open, the key remains inserted. The AXA Defender has a low profile (only 46 mm), making it easier to mount on smaller frames. The locks are tested according to the Dutch standard ART (708 g and 675 g/NL).

Key: Two numbered keys. Installation: Loops: Attach to the loops of the seat stays using the three double-sided cutouts at mid-lock height. Bridge plate: Secure to the bridge plate (Pletscher plate) with the two M5x30 mm lock screws embedded at the top of the lock (28 mm apart). For stress-free mounting between the seat stays, an 18 mm high plastic spacer is fitted, which also protects against bolt cutters.

Material: The riveted housing made of strong steel sheet is encased in a solid plastic housing. Bolt cutters cannot break it. The hardened lock bolt has a diameter of 8.5 mm. The shackle height is 100 mm and the width is 50 mm.
