The Atomic Hawx Prime XTD 130 CT GW combines the downhill performance and all-mountain behavior of the Hawx line with almost the same natural freedom of movement of the Backland touring boots. The result is a genuine all-rounder with touring characteristics and a focus on downhill performance. This model is slightly wider than the Hawx Ultra XTD and is designed for skiers with medium-width feet who are looking for a boot that excels in both downhill performance and ascent characteristics.

Weighing less than 1700 grams (for size 26), this is achieved thanks to the very thin injection-molded Grilamid shell and the lightweight yet super comfortable liner. The Mimic Platinum Liner is considered one of the best on the market, as it is pre-shaped to fit well and be comfortable from the first wear. Unlike shoes from other manufacturers, it can still be thermoformed in the pre-shaped areas (ankle, heel, instep) for a perfect custom fit. If that is not enough for a secure yet comfortable fit, the Memory Fit shell can also be heated and precisely adapted to your foot.

The boot is built on a 100-millimeter last and has a flex index of 130. Despite the overlap shaft, it offers a shaft rotation of 54 degrees, allowing for easy movement during ascents. Thanks to the Free/Lock 4.0 mechanism, the boot can be quickly switched from walking to downhill mode. When closed, the Hawx Prime XTD is firm and direct, yet provides the necessary flex despite the relatively stiff Grilamid. The cuff can be adjusted to 13, 15, and 17 degrees of inclination.
