Product details

The new Sky Elite FF is the successor to the top shoe Volley-Elite-3 and is the first shoe to utilize the newly developed Flight Foam material as cushioning foam. Similar to Adidas' Boost material, Flight Foam was initially tested in running shoes before being gradually introduced as cushioning in the indoor shoe collection, replacing the classic gel pads. Flight Foam absorbs energy and returns it to the body during push-off movements. This results in softer landings, more explosive take-offs, and faster movements. The sole is covered with linear grooves that are designed to ensure grip. They are supported by small inlets that create slight suction, helping the shoe "stick" to the court and enhancing grip. The upper material is made from a flexible mesh-PU blend that fits wonderfully to the foot. Although originally developed for volleyball players, we can definitely recommend this shoe for explosive, fast handball players who still want good cushioning. As with all ASICS shoes, your foot should not be too wide, and the Sky Elite FF has a narrower fit. It is also advisable to choose a half size larger than your current shoe model. Enjoy our new ASICS top model from the Japanese indoor shoe specialist.
