ASICS Performance Gel-Cumulus 23 Running Ladies

The focus of the GEL-CUMULUS™ 23 shoe is to provide an even smoother and softer running experience. ASICS has redesigned the upper and midsole formation of this neutral running shoe. They apply a more holistic design approach that adapts to the anatomy of the runner in motion. The innovative mesh upper envelops the foot with an even softer feel and provides support in specific areas, while some of the fibers remain more open to enhance breathability. The upper also supports the movement of the midsole, resulting in a softer step from foot strike to toe-off. To improve cushioning and flexibility, a 3D Space Construction has been added to the upper layer of the midsole. This technology is implemented through a series of strategically placed supports in the midsole, allowing runners to experience more compression in certain areas without compromising durability or stability. These support formations are tuned differently in the men's and women's models to account for the biomechanical data of each gender. This shoe helps runners adequately compress the foam during the landing phase of their stride, promoting a smoother running feel and improving shock absorption. A softer GEL™ technology unit is positioned under the heel to enhance cushioning, while the FLYTEFOAM™ midsole material ensures a gentler and more stable run. The ASICS LITE rubber is made from a sustainable blend in the outsole, is soft, and is designed to improve durability in high-impact areas.
