The Escalante 4 is characterized by increased flexibility and lightness, as well as the FootShape Fit feature. The upper material made of technical mesh provides a comfortable, sock-like fit, while the mesh tongue pays homage to the original Escalante. The rubber midsole is lighter and more flexible, ensuring optimal ground traction. The new insole, featuring Altra's signature EGO foam midsole for comfort and responsiveness, is reminiscent of the iconic Escalante 1.5 and 2.0. The spacious toe box allows the toes to move freely, while the zero drop promotes a natural fit.
