Screw in, push out: The Acros TPF bottom bracket is the logical evolution of press-fit bottom brackets. Its screwable bearing cups prevent annoying creaking and cracking while riding. Additionally, it can be easily installed with any common BSA tool, allowing for straightforward self-service.
The Acros TPF bottom bracket (Threaded Pressfit) is packed with innovative technologies, starting with the injection-molded housing that guarantees a coaxial fit through the bolting of both bearing sides, thus preventing the irritating creaking and cracking of the bottom bracket. Furthermore, the unique design keeps the weight low and combines the advantages of traditional press-fit bottom brackets with those of classic threaded bottom brackets. The lifespan of the ball bearings is also extended, as the TPF bottom bracket adeptly handles frame tolerances and, due to the increased number of balls, results in less movement within the system. Should the ball bearings reach the end of their life due to lack of maintenance or excessive play – after all, bottom brackets are wear parts – they are incredibly easy to replace. Sounds fantastic? We think so too!
