Product details

The absoluteBLACK Carbon Piston Press Tool allows for safe and precise resetting of hydraulic brake pistons when installing new brake pads. The tool also serves as a bleed block. Compared to makeshift methods using screwdrivers or levers that can damage ceramic pistons or strain seals, this tool applies even pressure to both pistons simultaneously. This ensures that the pistons are pushed back into the bore concentrically and parallel, reducing seal strain and preventing misalignment. Made from carbon fiber reinforced polymer with titanium and aluminum components, the tool is lightweight, robust, and designed for regular use. Weighing only 12.5 g, it is suitable for both the workbench and taking on the go. Technical specifications: Weight: 12.5 g (±1 g), Color: Black, Material: carbon fiber reinforced polymer, titanium screw, aluminum wedge, rubber seals (O-rings), Compatibility: All hydraulic 2-piston brake calipers.
