77designz Frame Protection Tape

The frame protection tape has two main functions: First, it protects the chainstay from the impact chain and the resulting damage to the paint. Second, it minimizes the noise level of the bike. Thanks to its self-sealing butyl rubber compound, it adheres to almost all materials and can be applied quickly and flexibly to uneven and curved areas. It can also be used to prevent cable abrasion on the frame and the rough chipping of stones on the down tube. The narrower 38mm version is recommended for the chainstays, while the wider 52mm version is recommended for the down tube.

Info: Adheres to painted, anodized, and unfinished surfaces. Surfaces must be degreased before applying to achieve optimal results. Can be easily cut with sharp scissors. Avoid tension when applying, as it may shrink over time and adhesive lines may become visible. The durability is five years from the date of manufacture. Store in a clean, dry place at a temperature of 23°C and a relative humidity of 50%.
