Zukunft der Migration

In 18 contributions, the authors reflect on the impact of migration research of the last two decades on migration policy in Europe and Switzerland. They take a self-critical look at whether the Foundation for Population, Migration and Environment has achieved its goal of contributing to a differentiated and objective discussion on migration through research. They address the phenomenon of flight in times of climate change and catastrophes, but also factors such as religion or gender, which pose major challenges for integration. In addition to day-to-day politics, the volume of essays under the thematic bracket "Future of Migration" deals with possible scenarios and trends in the coming decades and with the future relationship between society, migration and international politics.
