Zufriedenheit der CBHI-Begünstigten mit der Qualität des MHCS in Ruanda

The CBHI was established in 2004 in Rwanda. Its success has led to more Rwandans being financially protected from the costs of healthcare services, thanks to effective advertising campaigns and a wide range of preventive and curative care services provided at various levels of healthcare facilities in Rwanda, covering over 90% of all Rwandans in 2019-2020. Like other low-income countries, Rwanda still has one of the highest maternal mortality rates in the world, estimated at 141 per 100,000 live births for the period 2019-2020. This book examines the satisfaction of CBHI beneficiaries with the quality of maternal care received and identifies the challenges faced by CBHI beneficiaries in accessing maternal care in urban healthcare facilities in Rwanda. Successful utilization and implementation strategies related to maternal health services can contribute to achieving the third Sustainable Development Goal, which aims to reduce the maternal mortality rate to 70 per 100,000 live births by 2030.
