They have an opinion on every topic but perceive criticism of themselves as lèse-majesté. Young people from pampered generations expect everything to be served to them on a silver platter: they have never heard of willingness to perform or endure. As a result, they have even unlearned how to learn or never learned it in the first place. Zümrüt Gülbay-Peischard uncovers the causes of the educational crisis at German universities and shows its consequences: universities are increasingly unable to train the urgently needed top talent for the job market.
