The indispensable text edition by Gauch/Stöckli, which has proven itself over many decades and for which Professor Hubert Stöckli has been responsible since 2010, will be published in its 55th edition in August 2024, again as a complete volume, a partial volume of the Swiss Civil Code and a partial volume of the Swiss Code of Obligations. In addition to numerous other laws, the Civil Procedure Code (CPC) is also included in the partial volume of the Civil Code and the complete volume, in full text and with numerous contextual references.

For the 55th edition, the provisions of the ZGB and the associated laws and ordinances have also been carefully updated in order to take account of the many new developments and to indicate upcoming changes. Selected areas include foundation law, inheritance law, IPRG, data protection law, new ZPO provisions, VBVV and the revised Land Register Ordinance.
