Sabine Rückert, born in 1961, is the deputy editor-in-chief of Die Zeit, the publisher of the Zeit-Magazin Verbrechen, and the author of several books on criminalistics. Since 2000, she has worked as an independent court reporter and has received numerous prestigious journalism awards for her reports, including the Egon-Erwin-Kisch Prize, the Henri-Nannen Prize, and the German Reporter Prize. She uncovered two miscarriages of justice. Since 2018, she has been the host of the highly successful Zeit Verbrechen podcast, where she captivates hundreds of thousands of listeners with thrilling criminal cases.
