Zauberhafter Bodensee

This travel photo book is a tourist journey to all the important sights, presented through selected top photos and informative texts along Lake Constance and the Upper Swabian Baroque Road. Today, Lake Constance connects and separates three countries: Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. However, the exact borders in the lake remain undefined. This fits well with the region, which not only offers a mild, Mediterranean climate but has also fostered a more relaxed attitude towards life. Mörike visited Lake Constance several times and wrote in a poem: “When I think of it, my soul becomes as vast as its mirror of lights.” At the end of a journey around Lake Constance, he expressed: “It pains me to leave this area.” The most beautiful baroque buildings are connected touristically by the Upper Swabian Baroque Road and several side routes, leading to the highlights of baroque architecture.
