The island at a glance: At the foothills of the mighty Kastró hill, Zakynthos town, Chóra, impresses with the architectural legacy of its former Venetian rulers. Not far away lies Kilioméno. The picturesque Skopós peninsula delights with Argássi and Cape Gérakas. The sea at the magnificent, elongated Banána Beach has an almost Caribbean flair.
