Product details
This guide explains how to successfully use "Young World" in mixed-age classes. The suggestions are based on practical experiences with mixed-age learning groups in 3rd/4th and 5th/6th grades. They can also be extended to other learning groups and to the use of other English teaching materials.
The first part presents a teaching model that provides a suitable structure for differentiated instruction while ensuring individual development space. This section also includes the topic of "assessment."
The second part is dedicated to lesson planning. Two-year plans illustrate how the "Young World" learning content and the learning objectives of each learning group can be divided over the two school years.
The third part offers practical examples for using the approximately fifty photocopiable templates for differentiated instruction with "Young World." The templates are available digitally and can be modified.
