Yoshi und das Meer

In 1997, fishermen found a small injured sea turtle in the ocean and took her on board. She was named Yoshi and brought to the Two Oceans Aquarium in Cape Town for rehabilitation. In the safety of the aquarium, Yoshi grew, became stronger, made friendships, and soon had numerous fans. Twenty years later, Yoshi returned to the sea. Researchers attached a tracking device to her shell and monitored her incredible journey: for 982 days, Yoshi swam over 40,000 km and sent out 23,167 radio signals before finally returning home.
