Xenophon, Anabasis

This new Greek reading from Xenophon's Anabasis features a selection of texts that encompasses the entire work, including passages from all seven books that reflect as many facets of the narrative as possible. The edition can already be used as transitional reading material. For specific topics such as military, measurements, coins, etc., there are explanatory compilations and thematically focused cultural-historical excursions. Finally, the selected imagery is intended to bring students closer to the realities of the depicted time period. Competency-oriented tasks have been included with the texts to provide starting points for engaging with the content and to encourage free and creative exploration.
