Dowsing can be done by anyone. For centuries, dowsing rods and pendulums have been used to locate underground water veins and other hidden elements in the ground. To practice this age-old art, only concentration and some practice with the rod or pendulum are required. The dowsing rod can simply be made from a freshly cut forked branch of a hazel bush or bent from pieces of wire. A homemade pendulum can also be used to locate underground (water) pipes. This can sometimes save tedious digging or prevent existing pipes from being damaged during earthworks. In the first part of the book, the most important and easily learnable dowsing techniques for practical use are described in detail. The second part presents special applications indoors and outdoors, as well as techniques for advanced users. In the third part, the authors discuss the background of the dowsing phenomenon and report on scientific experiments.
