Product details
Wuthering Heights is the only novel by Emily Brontë. It was first published in 1847 under the pseudonym Ellis Bell, and a posthumous second edition was released by her sister Charlotte. The title of the novel comes from the Yorkshire manor on the moors around which the story revolves. As an adjective, "wuthering" refers to a Yorkshire word that describes stormy weather. The narrative tells the story of the all-encompassing and passionate, yet unfulfilled love between Heathcliff and Catherine Earnshaw, and how this unresolved passion ultimately destroys them and many around them.
