The illustrations by Gloria Maria Jasionowski are almost cloud-soft. The playful drawings pull the viewer right into the story. Each page is marked by this light, floating drawing style of the illustrator.

The fact that it is the father who bakes cakes at home receives no special attention, but is meant to naturally demonstrate the equality of father and mother.
