Hike, clear your head. Take in the rugged, unspoilt landscape. Don't plan ahead. Feel the adventure. This is what Simon and Maggie had in mind when they set off in their camper van towards the Bavarian Forest. But when they hit an animal on a lonely road through the forest, their holiday suddenly takes a sinister turn. Simon and Maggie report the accident to the nearest village. The inhabitants of the village eye them suspiciously. There is a threat in the air, which soon becomes tangible. When Simon returns to the scene of the accident accompanied by two local policemen, he is in for a nasty surprise. Everything points to the fact that he won't be leaving this place any time soon. And then Maggie disappears without a trace ...
