Cornelia Wiesner, born in 1973 in Geneva, is married and a mother of three children. For her, family, including their dog, is one of the greatest treasures alongside health and friends. Since childhood, she has loved books, a passion that remains to this day. "A blank sheet of paper, there is nothing more beautiful; I can let my thoughts flow freely." It is the ordinary everyday life, the observation of situations and human encounters that inspire her imagination. The first story about the wolf, who is searching for friends and meets the bear, the robin, the mouse, and the deer, was created while her daughter had to undergo stitches after a snowboarding accident. At that time, Cornelia Wiesner had no choice but to comfort with an exciting story.

Nicola Rakutt, born in 1965, is married and the mother of two adult sons. After studying art therapy, she lived with her husband and their two young children in South America for three years. Living there with the indigenous population allowed her to experience the mystique and connection of humans to nature in a profound way. These years significantly shaped her artistic development. Today, she satisfies her love for nature with long walks through forests or by the sea. The impressions she gathers during these walks later flow into her drawings, watercolors, or large-format paintings. She lives with her husband in Bad Wimpfen and has an open studio in the middle of the historic old town. Since 2021, she has been realizing long-held dream projects together with Cornelia and their joint publishing house, WolfsRudel.
