This little book saw the light of day in 1995 and has come a long way since then. It has passed through many hands, helped many Germans with the process of "Entpiefkenisierung," and even stepped onto the political stage during the visit of the German Foreign Minister to Vienna in 2022. Because not all the words listed in it are considered socially acceptable, its terms were removed from the welcome walls at Vienna Airport. Now it is time for a relaunch. Migration movements and changes in our living environment have given rise to new terms, while old ones like "Wortdenkmäler" are being rediscovered and cherished. The new edition fills the gaps that have emerged with an appropriate dose of humor.
